LIBRARY
Democracywatch has
a rich library containing almost 10,000 books and journals
on wide range of subjects. In addition, there are audio-visual
materials for training purposes. Membership can be obtained
for three months with a nominal fee, for the members of the
Democracywatchers’ Club (see later) the duration of
membership is one year. Every year to encourage library usage
prizes are distributed among the borrowers who issues maximum
amount of books and audio-visual materials.
CANTEEN
During leisure, students
can enjoy delicious snacks from the canteen which can accommodate
quite a good number of people .
SPORTS FACILITIES
Annual sports completions are also arranged. Students
are encouraged to take part in tournaments and friendly matches,
which are held at the premises and also at hired venues.
DEMOCRACYWATCHERS'
CLUB
This is a platform for
both current and ex-students of Democracywatch. This unit
organizes various programs such as debates, rallies, campaign,
and seminars on different socio-cultural and political issues.
Film shows and study tours are also arranged. This allows
them to practice the skills they have achieved from the Life
skills and Lifestyle courses.
SPECIAL COURSES
FOR CORPORATE
We cater for special
groups from banks, companies, NGOs, government offices, and
other organizations. We have a special group rate for four
or more.
EMPLOYMENT
OPPORTUNITY
Democracywatch through its network and partners always explores
for opportunities for the young people. Career counseling
and interview techniques are provided through Life Style sessions.
Students get practical job experience through internship opportunities.
PREMISES
Democracywatch operates from a spacious and well equipped
two storied building with a lash green garden. This garden
won prizes for many years. Democracywatch has spacious air-conditioned
classrooms. Students enjoy a tranquil atmosphere congenial
for studying.
